Hello! My name is Trevor O'Neil and I've been designing, experimenting, creating, and fabricating my entire life.  Currently, I hold a lead carpenter position for an internationally respected fabrication firm in Chicago, Illinois, where teams of fabricators and designers collaborate to create multi-million dollar installations.  Think world-class museum exhibits, award winning pop-up environments, and elaborate scenic displays.  It is an industry that I'm passionate about and love.

I started this site as a resource for creatives who have a passion for furniture making, sculptural installations, design, cabinetry, scenic fabrication, and virtually anything that requires tools to create works of art.  As a self-taught artist, designer, and fabricator, I spent a good decade or more making poor decisions and 'Hail Mary' purchases to bring my ideas to life.  Trust me, the lists on theses pages will guarantee that you will not have to make those mistakes.  These lists are designed to provide you the best tool kits for success - be it as an employee at a large facility or in your own studio making beautiful artworks.
